lmao - Giants game

Still ROTFLMAO! My son called me at 3:35 pm asking what time they were leaving for the Giants game. I said he was being picked up at 3:30 pm and to get his ass home asap. Remember he called at 3:35 pm. He got out of school at 2 pm, was suppose to come straight home. My brother was picking him up at 3:30 pm. I also mentioned we were having a talk this weekend about how he doesn't follow rules very well (lol). He calls my dad to pick him up (I am still at work for another hour). My brother picks him up at my dad's house at some point. I came home from work 4:45 pm & they were gone. He also thought the game was gonna be done at 7 and he could go with his friends by 8 or 9. I laughed so hard and said he would be lucky if the game ended by 9, then there's the drive home from S.F. They wanted to leave by around 4 to avoid commute traffic. Game started at 7. It is now 10:15 and they're finishing the 7th inning and it's tied. They might be lucky to leave at 11 pm, home by 12 am. Ha! Unless they leave early. He isn't hanging out with friends after be game tonight. lmao.

Spring football so done, waaa! lol

Waaaa! Spring football is done. I thought we had like 3 or 4 more games. Just talked to the head coach (which was also the freshman h.s. coach this past fall, so I know him well) and he said they are done. They have a couple of bye weeks and their last game was against someone they already played and creamed twice. Plus most high schools are starting spring practice for the upcoming fall season. Too hard on the kids doing h.s. practice 3:30-5:30 and spring practice usually is 5:15 -7. So most would have only gotten an hour in at the 2nd practice, 20 mins there, 20 mins back, home late, late dinner, homework, school all day and h.s. Too much for the kids...15 hour day. So spring football is done, time to concentrate on high school ball now. Way to go San Jose Sharks, undefeated 7-0-0. Now it is time to say GO LG WILDCATS!

Thank you for your prayers

Thank you to everyone for your prayers for my friend Jesse. I am assuming "no news is good news" right? Life threatening surgery was performed this morning. Should be done by now and Jesse should be recovering. Even if he did make it through the surgery, there is still things that can happen after. He has no white blood cells, no immune system to fight off anything right now. He still has to fight for his life, if not from the cancer itself, from complications b/c of the cancer. Even a co-worker who lost her mom and brother to forms of cancer, they both passed from complications (pneumonia) from the disease, not the disease itself. The disease just wears you out, your immune system is shot, can't fight anything off. Please continue your prayers for Jesse. Thank you.

Please say a prayer for my friend Jesse! For those that know me well, know the story about Jesse. We have been friends, known each other & worked together for 11 years. A year ago April he was diagnosed with leukemia. With aggressive efforts and treatment & a major surgery, he had beaten it. Just two months ago he was talking about coming back to work in a few months. Well a month ago he was admitted back into the hospital as the cancer came back and he had lost all his white cells. Again with aggressive effort they were trying to bring back his white cells so he could have a bone marrow transplant for better chances of survival and remission. Well a couple of weeks ago, b/c of lack of an immune system from the cancer he had gotten a stomach infection. Without emergency surgery he would not survive, and with the surgery they still weren't sure but it was at least a 50% chance he would survive that. So now this morning he has been rushed into emergency surgery. Please send out prayers for Jesse that he survives the surgery and can move on to the next step of beating this dreadful disease. Thank you. This has hit me hard so I may not be around much for a while as I deal with this. Thanks for your love and support.
